Siguiente artista de la serie Conoce a… Seguimos con la agencia de Jay Park, AOMG.

Hoy es el turno de LOCO (로꼬), rapero y el primer ganador de un TV Show muy famoso en corea, y sí, leíste bien, ese es su nombre artístico. Se ha hecho más conocido y seguramente lo hayas escuchado hace unos 3 meses con su colaboración con Hwasa, la maknae del exitoso grupo MAMAMOO.

Biografía

LOCO (로꼬) nace en Seúl  el 25 de Diciembre del 1989.

Su nombre real es Kwon Hyuk Woo (권혁우).

En este caso pasa lo mismo que con GRAY, de su educación no sabemos mucho, lo que sí sabemos es que solía tener tartamudez y le era algo molesto por que no podía mantener una conversación con algo con total normalidad. Pero por suerte, esa tartamudez fue desapareciendo.

Cuando estaba en edad escolar empezó a escuchar hiphop junto con sus compañeros y amigos de clase, e incluso crearon un grupo llamado Satgotbong. De hecho, si te fijas en su nombre de Instagram (ya te dejaré el link al final del artículo) es “Satgotloco”.

En su edad universitaria estudió en Hongik University, en el departamento de económicas. Su nombre artístico proviene de esta época, por que antes de salir a actuar solía beber demasiado y los compañeros lo llamaban loco (crazy).

Aunque estudió económicas, no las usó mucho, puesto que su fama llegó cuando apareció en un famoso TV Show.

Carrera

Como acabo de mencionar, su carrera empieza después de ganar la primera temporada del TV Show Show Me The Money (SMTM) en 2012. Del cual pasó a ser productor  junto con Jay Park en la 4ª temporada.

Al terminar SMTM 1, LOCO firmó con una agencia que poco después se dio cuenta que no podía conseguir nada de ella, ya que no hacían nada por él.

Es entonces cuando el cantante contó en el programa de televisión Happy Together que fue Jay Park quien lo ayudó en ese asunto, ya que si quería abandonar esa agencia debería de pagar unos 200.000$ por acabar con el contrato mucho antes. La propuesta que Jay Park le hizo a Loco fue que le pagaría esa deuda siempre y cuando trabajara con él. Y es así como LOCO pasó a formar parte de la familia de AOMG.

Aunque solo cuenta con un álbum lanzado en 2017 con 12 canciones, muchas de ellas con colaboraciones de otros artistas de los que te hablaré en otro momento en conoce a… El nombre del álbum es Bleached el cual cuenta con nada más y nada menos que 7 MVs de las 12 canciones.

Pero no sólo cuenta con esas doce canciones, entre los singles, mini álbumes y el álbum cuenta más de50 temas a sus espaldas, además de las colaboraciones, te dejaré varios MVs y las portadas de sus trabajos.
